In the article “Update on a Long-term, Prospective Study of Capsulotomy and Retinal Detachment Rates After Cataract Surgery” (J Cataract Refract Surg 2000: 1017–1021), the first sentence of the Results section (page 1018) is incorrect. The sentence should be as follows: “One retinal detachment was associated with vitreous loss in 23 cases (vitreous loss rate of 0.9%).”
