In the June issue, in the article “Routine Posterior Optic Buttonholing for Eradication of Posterior Capsule Opacification in Adults” (J Cataract Refract Surg 2006; 32:929–943), several sentences appear incorrectly. (1) The first sentence in the first complete paragraph on page 938, left column, should be as follows: “The fibrotic changes after POBH are analogous to those observed with a bag-fixated IOL with the optic buttonholed anteriorly through an unpolished ACCC.” At the end of the last sentence in this paragraph, reference 23 should be cited. This same sentence should be deleted from the paragraph that continues on page 939. (2) The third sentence in the first complete paragraph on page 938, right column, should be as follows: “The well-defined fibrotic ring that may form along the PPCCC demonstrates that anterior LECs also have a considerable potential to migrate, although it is less pronounced than that of equatorial LECs.”
