In the February 2007 issue, in the article “Safety and Efficacy of Topical Anesthesia Combined with a Lower Concentration of Intracameral Lidocaine in Phacoemulsification: Paired Human Eye Study” (J Cataract Refract Surg 2007; 33:293–296), the abstract conclusion is incorrect. It should be as follows: “Combining topical anesthesia with intracameral lidocaine 0.5% anesthesia was safe and effective in phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation.”
